Opendoor Base Koksijde

Wednesday 29th August 2012, an opendoor is organized on Koksijde military base, which focuses on the emergency services. The goal is to let the public have a view 'behind the scenes' of municipal, provincial and national emergency services.

Some of our coast guard partners are also present: Shipping Assistance Division, Fleet, Mumm, Maritime and River Police, Civil Protection, FPS Public Health and of course the ministry of Defense.

Doors are open from 10am to 5pm. Admission is free. Parking costs 3€. Note: there are no airshows during this event. However, a number of maiden flights will put up for raffle among the visitors.
