The European agencies provide an opportunity to share experience and knowledge through their exchange programmes. In Belgium, we took part from 2024 to 2026 by offering programmes focusing on ‘Safety and Environment’ and ‘Security’. We also had staff from various coastguard partners taking part in international exchanges in Poland, Spain, Portugal and Italy.
The aim of the exchange programmes is to share, among other things, host organizations own experiences and working methods, as well as to introduce their equipment, resources, capabilities and infrastructure.
